Wood shop final project

This is the wooden monopoly board I made out of 12 different types of wood. The base board was made out of 2 pieces of would because the full board would not fit into the laser engraver. 1/2 inch slots/pockets were CNC routered into the board. Every property was then cut into 1 inch x 2 inch rectangles. Every property had to be individually designed using Photoshop then convert into a file the laser would read. Then each property had to be individually engraved. The 2 base boards were then biscuit jointed together. Once all pieces were engraved then the properties were inlaid into the base board. Many of theses tasks happened in parallel with each other and additional steps were omitted. Also I was a senior in high school when I made this so I was only able to use the laser in 1 hour blocks.
